## Edition summary

> [!NOTE]
> **XS-1, XS-2 and XS-3 are edition numbers**, like seasons. Each edition is a two-day tournament with the same four teams, not a different level or kind of game. XS-4 has not been announced, and the gap between editions is not fixed. How a match is played is explained in [Format & rules](/research/format-dan-aturan/).

Three editions on one line. Note the venue moving up in size and the gap between editions getting longer.

## Signals of scale

Compare the plan reported during XS-2 with what actually happened.

```viz-compare
## Plan at XS-2
tone: neutral
sub: Reported by Bola.com
- XS-3 | May 2026
- XS-4 | September 2026
- XS-5 | Abroad
## Reality
tone: neutral
sub: As of 1 Nov 2026
- XS-3 | Will only take place on 23–24 Jan 2027, about 8 months later
- Venue | Moved up from GOR UNJ to Indonesia Arena
```

> [!IMPORTANT]
> The conclusion: **the pace is slowing, the scale per edition is growing.**

What this means for the digital product: the long gap between editions (about 12 months) needs **content between seasons** so the audience does not drift away. See [Opportunity map](/strategy/peluang/) and goal [U4](/strategy/tujuan/#goal-u4).
