The motifs XSERIES already owns (the X, playing cards, the throne, arena light, the shot clock) and how to turn them into an icon system and digital product components.

Card rank system
The XS-3 player cards use playing card letters. Their meaning has not been officially explained (A/Q/J/P rank meaning). The four cards below use real photos from IG. Note that every rank uses the same frame color (brand teal in this example). Ranks are told apart by the letter and the level of ornament, not by color, because mint, gold, red, and white are already used for card function colors. This treatment is a proposal, not a confirmed meaning.

Proposed interpretations to confirm:
| Rank | Guessed meaning | Example on IG | Visual treatment |
|---|---|---|---|
| A (Ace) | Legend / main star | Safee Sali, Luis Nani | Full filigree, shine effect |
| Q (Queen) | Creator / celebrity | Ammar (evidence) | Corner filigree |
| J (Jack) | Pro player | Kitings, Tely | Thin line frame |
| P | Unclear (President? Pro? Prospect?) | Hamid, Apriyanto, Sakha | Needs confirmation |
Caution
Do not lock the rank meanings on the website before the client confirms them (A/Q/J/P rank meaning, decision rank meanings not locked). The card component should accept rank and tier label as data.
Player card anatomy (proposed)
Follow the numbers on the card: these six parts are the minimum content of every player card. The name, team, and numbers in this example are sample data only.

- 5
- Goals
- 12
- Assists
- 4
- Cards
- 2
- MVP
- 1
- Rank + small X icon Top left corner, repeated upside down in the bottom right corner
- Player photo On the throne or in a pose, separate background so the frame can be swapped
- Player name Display italic, capitals, the largest element
- Team · position · country Small label above the name
- Stats Goals, assists, cards, MVP with tabular numbers
- Sponsor slot "presented by [sponsor]", present from the first version (sponsor slot decision)
The card ratio is 5:7, the same as a standard playing card (63 × 88 mm). This ratio reads as "card" right away at every size.
Game card icons
X Cards and President Cards need their own icons so they can appear in overlays, the match center, and the explainer. Card names and effects are taken from Format & rules. Read the "Icon" line on each card: X Cards are mint, President Cards are gold, and the shot clock is white, then red.
1-on-1 duel from the center, max. 6 seconds

Opponent player positions are reset for 2 minutes

The goal cannot concede for 2 minutes

Icon: a clock with "+3"
Add 1 player, making it 6v5
Icon: a player silhouette with "+1"
1 player's goal is worth 3 (6 from the second line)
Icon: a player silhouette with a star. Solid mint, no gold accent, so it is not confused with President Cards

All goals count 3x
Icon: a ball with "×3"
The first goal wins

Max. 24 seconds of possession
Icon: a progress circle with the number 24. White, then red
Icon style: 2px line, sharp corners (following the letter X), 24px grid, no fill except when the card is active.
What to avoid
Left are motifs that are already distinctive to XSERIES, right are motifs that competitors already own or that lose their value when overused.
- Throne and playing cardsMore distinctive to XSERIES than a crown
- X and shot clockBelong to XSERIES's own format
- Filigree for rare cardsUsed only for rare cards and special moments, so it keeps its value
- Crown as the main iconToo close to Kings League, whose logo is a king and a crown (Summa)
- Dice or wheelBelong to Kings League (dice) and Baller League (the Gamechanger wheel). See Competitor landscape
- Ornament everywhereFiligree everywhere makes it lose its value
