Tip
This page is a summary. To see how everything connects, open Connecting the dots. Measures and targets are in Goals: business, user, tech, and the design questions are in Challenges & HMW.
The strategy in one flow
Read from left to right: the problem from the research, the bet we chose, the goals we measure, then the phases we build.

- A long, irregular gap between editions: 12 months from XS-2 to XS-3Edition timeline

Problem
XSERIES is growing fast. From GOR UNJ to Indonesia Arena, from futsal stars to Luís Nani. But its digital presence is still scattered: information sits in story highlights, tickets on GOERS, viewing on a YouTube channel shared with Futsal Series, and rule explanations in media articles. XSERIES does not yet have a working official website and does not own its fan data (Digital touchpoints).
Strategic bet
Important
Make "cards" a product, not just a rule. X Cards, President Cards, and player rank cards are something no other league in Indonesia has. The XSERIES digital product is built around cards: player cards to collect, rule cards to understand, and prediction cards for fans to play.
Whether fans like the cards or see them as a gimmick still needs to be tested (Cards: loved or gimmick).
Three goals for the digital product
These three big goals are broken down into measurable goals in Goals: business, user, tech.
One place for the schedule, tickets, rules, rosters, results, and the story of each edition.
Measurable tickets Position in SEA Understand the rules Buy tickets
Turn IG followers and YouTube viewers into registered fans who can be contacted directly.
Own audience Owned data
The gap between editions is not fixed: 4 months from XS-1 to XS-2, 12 months from XS-2 to XS-3, and XS-4 has not been announced. The digital product keeps fans' attention between events.
Connected outside the season
Phases
Three phases, following the XSERIES-3 schedule. Details in Roadmap.
- Website: schedule, tickets, rules, rosters, FAQ, waitlist
- Live match companion: score, active cards, predictions, MVP vote
- Archive, fan accounts, card collection, between-season content

Research basis
- XS-1 and XS-2 were held at GOR UNJ, and XS-3 moves to Indonesia Arena on 23–24 Jan 2027: Edition timeline, from Lapangbola and GOERS

- None of the Indonesian competitors we found uses a card mechanic: Competitor landscape. This is the team's reading of the research, not a claim from a source.
- The "cards as product" bet and the three goals are proposals from the design team, not yet validated with client data. See Cards: loved or gimmick and the Open questions.
